A few weeks ago, I made my very first purchase at Drugstore.com. Considering its such a large site with many positive reviews, it seemed safe enough and I went ahead with my order.

I purchased 3 Burt’s Bees Toners and 1 Burt’s Bees chapstick. The toners are absolutely FABULOUS. My boyfriend and his family has pretty stubborn acne and this is the only toner that actually takes away all the dirt. We even tested more expensive toners and popular toners but in the end, the Burt’s Bees toner was still getting rid of dirt even after the other toners stopped! I’ll show proof of this later!

Anyways, we received the shipment last week  I thought the packaging seemed a little weak considering they were all glass bottles but everything seemed fine so I quickly dismissed it. However,  it turns out that one of the toner’s cap was completely broken to the point where hardly any toner was left in the bottle.

Here is the evidence:

Judging by the looks of it, I don’t think that crack occurred during shipment. It looks like it was actually torn and perhaps shipping made it worse?

Regardless, all the presents for the sister that were RIGHT under the box of toners are completely ruined. I e-mailed Drugstore.com earlier today. We’ll see if they even respond! I’ll update this post once they do. If they don’t, then please take this post as a precaution before you order from them!

Update: They finally took care of things. After sending several e-mails back and forth, Drugstore.com was kind enough to completely reship my order free of cost. That means, I got my whole order sent to me again. This was a huge surprise considering I only asked them to resend the one bottle that broke.

I definitely recommend Drugstore.com for their customer service. They were completely nice overall. The only thing was, the whole process took a bit of time, which may discourage people, but it was worth it in the end. =)
